Brait Builders Corp. of Marshfield will host its annual charity golf tournament benefiting the Doug Flutie Jr. Foundation for Autism on Friday, July 14, at the Pinehills Golf Club in Plymouth. The tournament will be a scramble format with a shotgun start at 9 a.m. Hole in One and Putting contests, dinner, numerous raffles and a live auction will follow. The cost per player is $250.
All proceeds from the event will be donated to the Doug Flutie Jr. Foundation for Autism, which provides aid to financially disadvantaged families who need assistance in caring for their children with autism, funds education and research into the causes and consequences of childhood autism and serves as a clearinghouse and communications center for new programs and services developed for individuals with autism.
Over the past five years, Brait Builders Corp. has raised and donated more than $165,000 to the foundation, thanks to the generosity of players and local business sponsors.
There is available space for individuals and teams interested in playing in this year's event. There are also a variety of business sponsorship opportunities. Donations of goods and services for the live auction and raffle are appreciated.
